AOP Health fills strategically important new management positions

AOP Health is expanding its management level to strategically drive global growth. In the first half of the year key functions such as Medical Affairs, Legal Affairs, Human Resources and Strategic Partnerships were at the center of these measures.

Alessandra Antonello starts as Senior Director Global Medical Affairs

The PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences took over as head of the Global Medical Affairs and Drug Safety teams at AOP Health in March 2024. Both departments contribute to the success of the globally operating company by providing strategic scientific support on the one hand and ensuring that the EU's pharmacovigilance requirements are met on the other. To further promote efficient and smooth processes in these departments, Antonello relies on close cooperation with other departments at AOP Health's headquarters in Vienna, as well as with colleagues in the company's branches.

Philipp Lukacs promoted to Senior Director Legal Affairs

The certified lawyer began his career as legal counsel at AOP Health in 2019 and has served as head of the legal department since March 2024. Together with his team, he is responsible for all legal matters at AOP Health, including the legal aspects of the company's expansion. His strategic vision is one of Lukacs’ distinctive qualities: according to him, thinking outside the box and acting strategically are key components of his tasks.

Christopher Fielder takes on the role of Director HR Business Partner

The experienced HR Business Partner previously worked as an external consultant for AOP Health and took over the position of Director HR Business Partner as of April 2024. Together with his team, he supports the growth of the enterprise on both a strategic and an operational level. At the heart of his activities lies the analysis of the organizational structure, skills, and resources of employees, which he considers to be prerequisites for promoting their potential. Fielder works closely with the other departments of AOP Health's Human Resources department and with the circle of senior executives.

Michael Buchbauer is Senior Director Strategic Partnership

Since May 2024, Michael Buchbauer has been leading the new Strategic Partnership Management (SPM) division, which focuses on the effectiveness, innovation, and compliance of AOP Health's operational area. Buchbauer's tasks are to ensure a seamless supply chain, to create the conditions for successful research work in the company, and to effectively manage the regulatory complexities of the pharmaceutical industry. To achieve this goal, Buchbauer relies on the establishment and maintenance of successful and fruitful alliances within the company and with other organizations.
