The Vienna Business Agency is a conference supporter and exhibitor and will host the session “Inclusive Innovation in Action: Vienna's Approach and Solutions for Independent Living” that will explore how policy, technology and social entrepreneurship create tangible impact. Selected Vienna-based companies will have the opportunity to:
- Present their innovative products or services to an international audience
- Share their experience and impact in a panel discussion
- Connect with a global community working to advance disability inclusion
The Zero Project Conference brings together more than 1,000 participants from around 100 countries at the United Nations Office/Vienna International Center. The 2027 conference will focus on Independent Living, Political Participation, Assistive Technology, and the Zero Project Awardees of 2027.

Who can apply?
We invite Vienna-based SMEs and start-up projects whose innovations already facilitate, or have the potential to increase, accessibility, inclusion, independence, and participation for people with disabilities.
The conference languages are English and International Sign Language.
How to apply
Send an informal expression of interest by October 15, 2026 to goettinger(at)wirtschaftsagentur.at, including:
- Subject: Expression of Interest by [Organization name] – Zero Project Conference Session 2027
- Organization name and year founded
- Website and Vienna address
- Company registration number
- Proposed panel representative and function
- A description of your innovation and its impact or potential (max. 1,000 characters including spaces) plus a link with additional information
- Details of any funding received from the Vienna Business Agency, including the funding program and year
Selection: Submissions will be assessed by Vienna Business Agency staff responsible for curating the session. In addition to the relevance and innovation of the solutions, diversity among the speakers will be taken into consideration. There is no legal entitlement to participate as a panellist, and legal recourse is excluded.
