MFPL researcher Günther Rezniczek of the Wiche Group contributed to a recent publication of clinicians of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the MUW/AKH.
The result of this collaboration of basic researchers and clinicians showed that a newly developed fan-shaped suction device for hysterotomy during Cesarean section can improve the amount of blood removed during hysterotomy, consequently enhancing visibility and minimizing risk of fetal injury.
