IMCD South East Europe Opens a New Food & Nutrition Laboratory in Vienna

IMCD, a global leading distribution partner, and formulator of speciality chemicals and ingredients, opens a new laboratory for the Food & Nutrition unit in Vienna, Austria. Equipped with the latest technology, this new facility is set to enhance IMCD’s capabilities in the South East Europe (SEE) region.

The laboratory will serve as a hub for innovation, focusing on developing sustainable and cutting-edge solutions. By offering application support and driving product innovation, the technical team works to inspire discovery and explore formulations in many market segments, including bakery, savoury, dairy, nutrition and more.  

At the grand opening on 12th June 2024, Marc van Gerwen, Business Group Director for Food & Nutrition, and Charles Page, Managing Director of IMCD South East Europe, as well as distinguished partners from IMCD, toured the facility, gaining insights into its potential.  

"This new application laboratory in Vienna provides unique value to our partners in the region and is an investment in the Food & Nutrition business that will accelerate our growth," said Charles Page, Managing Director of IMCD South East Europe. 

"This facility represents a new era of collaboration and excellence, enabling us to develop innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our customers," added Christiane Reiseder, Business Unit Manager for Food & Nutrition in South East Europe.

The new laboratory is now open for customer visits, fostering a collaborative environment for discovering innovative formulations and enhancing product development.
