Review: LISAvienna hosts UK Delegation Regenerative Medicine

LISAvienna received a delegation of entrepreneurs and scientists in the areas of nanotechnology and regenerative medicine

Vienna, 2012.09.06 - On September 6th, 2012 LISAvienna received a delegation of entrepreneurs and scientists in the areas of nanotechnology and regenerative medicine during the international TERMIS-conference that took place in Vienna. The NanoRegen delegation was organized by the cell therapy and regenerative medicine expert Prof. Chris Mason from University College London as well as by Dr. Felicity Sartain, Programme Director & Theme Manager, Healthcare & Life Sciences at Nanotechnology KTN. During the event the participants presented their technologies and products and discussed the start-up funding possibilities in Austria and UK. Of particular interest to the British participants were the presentations of the two Austrian Life Science Entrepreneurs of British origin, Dr. Rod Hall (Mucokinetica) and Dr. Jason Slingsby (Protaffin). In the area of regenerative therapies Prof. Grillari (Evercyte) and Dr. Berger (TissueMedBiosciences) presented their respective companies. The event was supported by the British Embassy in Vienna.
