LISAvienna: Takeda R&D Science Day 2025 in Vienna

LISAvienna is pleased to collaborate with Takeda and invites you to participate in the third Takeda R&D Science Day on October 16, 2025.

This event offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into innovations that interest Takeda and receive feedback on process development technology solutions from a global R&D leader in the biopharmaceutical industry.

For the R&D Science Day 2025, Takeda invites innovators, start-ups, spin-offs, subject matter experts, and application-oriented academic researchers to submit presentations for novel technologies in two key areas:

  1. In-silico process, formulation, and method development incorporating AI for analytical, process, and formulation development, emphasizing data analysis from internal and external sources and AI-driven lab experiment design.
  2. In-line/on-line testing technologies for in-process control and real-time release testing of drug substance and drug product.

Technologies can range from prototype and proof of concept stages to ready to use solutions. Presentations related to research and screening for novel therapies are not in scope for this event. We look forward to providing input to your innovative life sciences development capabilities related to science and technology.

Takeda welcomes applicants from across the DACH region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland), Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), as well as Scandinavia (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden). Finalists will be announced by the end of September. This year, finalists will have the opportunity to network in Vienna at a joint lunch with Takeda R&D Austria experts on October 16.

For those unable to travel to Vienna for the R&D Science Day, there is the option to participate via videoconference. Please note that travel expenses to Vienna will not be reimbursed by Takeda.

How to participate?

Submit non-confidential information in the form of 3-5 slides, along with 3-5 questions you would like to discuss with Takeda’s R&D experts to RnD.Austria(at)takeda.com by September 11 at the latest.
