IMP: Two IMP-Scientists join EMBO Young Investigator Programme

IMP Group Leaders Alexander Stark and David Keays have been selected into the prestigious “Young Investigator Programme” of the European Molecular Biology Organisation EMBO.

The programme offers financial, academic and practical support to advance the careers of researchers under forty who have recently established their first laboratories.

The two IMP-scientists join a network of nearly 300 current and former young investigators that encourages collaboration, offers training courses and organizes meetings. In total, 22 researchers have been accepted into the programme this year, out of 160 applicants from European and associated countries. Former EMBO YIP-members include IMP-researchers Barry Dickson, Jan-Michael Peters, Tim Clausen and Michael Glotzer (now at the University of Chicago).
