The 9th Probabilistic Modeling in Genomics Conference (ProbGen24), will be held in Vienna, Austria, April 10-12 2024, at the Vienna BioCenter, close to the center of Vienna, 20 minutes from the airport by public transport, and with excellent train connections.
The conference will cover models, algorithms and methods across a broad range of applications in genetics and genomics. We invite abstract submissions on topics ranging from phylogeny and population genetics to single cell -omics and machine learning in cancer biology. For an idea of the topics covered, please see the programs of previous meetings, which have been alternating between CSHL (2023, 2021, 2018, 2015), and locations in Europe (Oxford 2022, 2016, Aussois 2019, and Aarhus 2017).
As usual the format will encourage plenty of interaction. In addition to invited speakers, talks will be selected from submitted abstracts, and there will also be two poster sessions.
