IMBA: Hands-on workshop on human and mouse stem cells

Topics will include

• Reprogramming of human dermal fibroblasts to iPSCs
• Feeding, passaging and assessment of murine and human ESC cultures
• Freezing and thawing of ES cells
• Gene editing of mouse and human embryonic stem cells using CRISPR/Cas9 technology

This course is highly practical and will be based in a Class II tissue culture facility. All relevant safety equipment, clothing and training will be provided.
