VRVis: Visual Computing Trends 2023

Since 2009, Visual Computing Trends has been a biennial, one-day symposium at which, at the invitation of VRVis, four renowned international speakers provide insights and perspectives into the latest visual computing and computer graphics research.

In the past years we were pleased to welcome about 200 to 300 guests from more than 15 countries. The Visual Computing Trends Symposium has become a fixture of the visual computing community. Thus, the event has also established itself as a forum for lively international exchange between a wide variety of stakeholders from research, industry and the public.

After a pandemic-related pause, we are looking forward to starting the VCT 2023 with Marie-Paule Cani (Ecole Polytechnique), Eduard Gröller (TU Wien), Ming C. Lin (University of Maryland) and Anders Ynnerman (Linköping University). These four outstanding research personalities will demonstrate the future potential of visual computing research, ranging from artificial intelligence to metaverse and the future of visual analytics. In the last program item of the symposium, the award ceremony of the newly created VRVis Visual Computing Award will take place. moderated by Katja Bühler.

The symposium will be presented in English. We are looking forward to your attendance!
