Brigitte Tempelmaier works at LISAvienna as a project manager for marketing and PR. Her responsibilities include designing the communication media of LISAvienna and the corresponding text design. As a part of her thesis for her study of biology with an emphasis on genetics at the University of Vienna, she worked at Intercell AG (now Valneva) in the area of vaccine development. Then she gained experience in the fields of science communication and event management at the dialog<>gentechnik Association (now Open Science). Brigitte Tempelmaier also participated in the evaluation of R&D&I funding programs by Joanneum Research GmbH and was involved in evaluation processes of project proposals at the Vienna Science and Technology Fund. In addition, she trained herself in science communication and science studies at the University of Vienna.
