Lithoz receives export price and "Austria’s Born Global Champions Award"

On 26th of June Lithoz was rewarded twice in the context of the 15th Austrian export day and the Exporters Nite hosted by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO).

The Export Award Austria in the category business and trade was presented to Lithoz by Dr. Harald Mahrer, Austria’s federal minister of research & development and president of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce Dr. Christoph Leitl. This prestigious annual award is given to domestic enterprises for their extraordinary success and commitment on transnational non-domestic markets. The Austria’s Born Global Champions Award was received the same day which honours fresh and dynamic young enterprises and their outstanding contribution to the internationalization of the Austrian economy.

Lithoz appreciates the great recognition by both awards. Since the foundation of Lithoz was announced as a university spin-off in 2011 the company managed to become innovation leader in additive manufacturing of ceramics on a global market. “Being honoured like this is a great reward for Lithoz, its performance and efforts to succeed within the last years .” says Johannes Homa, CEO.

“As Lithoz is situated on a market which actually does not exist we have been forced to think globally right from the start. We are grateful we mastered all challenges that came along so far. Today Lithoz employs 36 people and just established a subsidiary in the US. We are very proud of our team and we will celebrate this together ” Johannes Benedikt, CTO of Lithoz.
