Lithoz GmbH, world and industry leaders in the field of ceramic 3D printing, have opened their newest location in the form of a secondary site in Vienna, Austria. After only recently launching their new Lithoz China headquarters in Shanghai, this fourth location will allow the company to greatly expand their production capabilities.

Lithoz, who is this year celebrating the 10 year anniversary of its founding, has the mission to drive the growth of ceramic 3D printing as an established production technique in every area of the manufacturing world. Their range of 3D printers and ceramic materials, as well as their innovative Lithography-based Ceramic Manufacturing technology, has been recognized throughout the industry as pioneering. Dr. Johannes Homa, CEO and co-founder of Lithoz along with CTO Dr. Johannes Benedikt, was recently awarded the coveted ‘Big Five Award’ in the field of additive manufacturing for his impact in advancing the industry over the past decade.

Lithoz’s new site offers more than 2200 m² of additional space for the production of machines and materials. Cutting-edge manufacturing solutions embedded in a GMP compliant infrastructure will allow Lithoz to meet even the highest standards of their industrial and medical customers, while a quality management system according to ISO 13485 and FDA (21 CFR part 820) ensures top product quality from development through to production and final delivery to the customer.

“During the planning and implementation of this new production site, we focused on sustainability, scalability and reliability. We are ready and extremely well prepared for the current and future requirements of our customers,” Dr. Daniel Bomze, the project leader added.

With this new base, as well as the foundation of Lithoz China earlier this year, Lithoz plan to better connect with their partners globally. After the growth and success of the company, and the expanded capabilities of this new production site, Dr. Homa describes Lithoz as being ‘fit for the future to deliver the same high quality Lithoz products in larger quantities than ever before!’

Lithoz is the world and technology leader for high-performance ceramic materials and 3D printers. Founded in 2011, Lithoz is committed to breaking the boundaries of ceramic production and supporting customers in expanding the manufacturing opportunities for the ceramic industry. The company has an export share of almost 100%, almost 100 employees and, since 2017, a subsidiary in the USA. Since 2016, Lithoz has also been ISO 9001-2015 certified.
