Lexogen: RNA-Seq Research Award Results

We have the winners!

Gene expression profiling by Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is empowering an ever-increasing range of researchers to answer highly relevant biological and medical questions.
With the Lexogen Research Award series, we wish to provide a chance for researchers to utilize more NGS.

This time we asked to submit a description of the project where NGS and Lexogen's QuantSeq 3' mRNA-Seq Library Prep would be used for sequencing of low quality or FFPE samples.
We received a large number of very interesting project proposals. After careful evaluation with the help of external referees, we are glad to announce 3 winners, who will be given a QuantSeq 3' mRNA-Seq Library Prep Kit together with a free sequencing run on Illumina NextSeq 500* and data analysis.

The winners are:

  • Anne-Margrethe Krogsdam | Department of Bioinformatics and I-Med NGS, Innsbruck Medical University | Austria
  • Enzo Medico | Laboratory of Oncogenomics, Candiolo Cancer Institute, FPO-IRCCS | Italy | Recommendation program: Claudio Isella
  • Corey Nislow | Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of British Columbia | Canada

Thanks to all the participants and congratulations to the winners!
