The topic of this Research Award is “Expression Profiling by Sequencing”. NGS is now rapidly substituting all other technologies for gene expression analysis. However, using standard RNA-Seq approaches, where the whole transcriptome is sequenced, for gene expression analysis is not efficient in terms of cost, time and quality.
