Mendel early career symposium

As a part of the celebrations around the 200th anniversary of Gregor Mendel’s birth, the Gregor Mendel Institute is starting a new series of annual symposia. In a two-day event, we will bring together PhD students, postdocs and junior group leaders/assistant professors to discuss the latest discoveries in all areas of plant science.

The Mendel Symposium intends to create a venue where early career researchers can share their findings and network with their peers in a friendly environment.     

To keep the meeting interactive, we will limit the number of participants to 120. So please register early!

The Symposium will take place at the GMI and IMP institutes on the Campus of the Vienna BioCenter. On arrival please come to the IMP building:
