LISAvienna: conhIT 2015

From 14-16 April 2015, LISAvienna was represented at conhIT in Berlin. The event offered a successful mix of trade fair, convention and networking dealing with the issues of healthcare IT and mobile health. 4 companies from Vienna presented their innovative products and services.

Overall, 20 Austrian companies took advantage of the joint stand of the WKO, which has nearly doubled compared to the previous year. This may be because health IT is increasingly becoming a driver for a sustainable healthcare system. Some other companies from Austria were represented at the event as a part of the appearances of their international parent organizations. Denmark, Holland and Switzerland took advantage of the joint stands to present exciting businesses in a bundled manner as well.

2015 was again a record year for conhIT when it comes to the number of exhibitors and trade fair audience interest. Nearly 7,500 trade fair visitors frequented conhIT this year, which is 15% more than in 2014. With 388 exhibitors at the industrial trade fair – which represents a growth of 8% compared to 2014 and over 20% compared to 2013 – and more than 150 event parts, conhIT has developed into one of the most important European events dealing with IT in healthcare.

For three days, solutions were the focus that relieve and support medical personnel and healthcare facilities. These are intended to contribute to improving patient care.

LISAvienna took advantage of conhIT to gain an overview of the international trends in the eHealth sector and to inform the Viennese exhibitors of the current range of services offered
