LISAvienna Business Seminar China

April 19, 2012 – LISAvienna hosted a business seminar for a closer insight into China’s patent law and to show first business experiences in China.

Stefan Kahl impressively underlined the rapid development and growth of China’s economy, especially in the pharma and biotech sector. Monika Voung gave an overview of the (commercial) intellectual property rights, pointing out how patent applications work in China, and focused on the special features of Chinese patent systems. The lengthy and, for Europeans, unusual way of initiating business in China was demonstrated by Martin Götting from AVIR Green Hills Biotechnology.
