At the 15th Austrian Export Day at the end of June, Harald Mahrer (Minister BMWFW) and Christoph Leitl (President WKO) handed over the Born Global Champion Award to ImageBiopsy Lab. CEO Richard Ljuhar states: “This is a great reward for the ImageBiopsy Lab team and encourages us to continue developing new approaches that will ultimately change the way how bone diseases are being assessed and diagnosed.”
ImageBiopsy Lab (IB Lab) addresses existing problems in the assessment and tracking of osteoarthritis (OA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and osteoporosis (OP). For the first time, IB Lab provides an objective evaluation and follow up of the knee joint on the basis of selected parameters (IB Lab JSxTM). In addition, applying a combination of bone micro architecture algorithms provides a unique way of an in-depth diagnosis of the condition of the bone (IB Lab BMAxTM).
Award for best poster at EFFORT 2017 congress
Recently, ImageBiopsy Lab has also received a special award for the poster presentation at the EFORT 2017 congress. The European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) has selected the company’s poster entitled „A Novel Method For Identifying Radiographic Baseline Risk Of Osteoarthritis Using An Anisotropy-Based Texture Analysis Algorithm: Data From The Osteoarthritis Initiative“ as the best poster presentation on site in the corresponding scientific topic group.
